Brim Seafood lands high quality traditional sizes of Frozen at
Vidir Jonsson Captain Sea, including 32oz+ Cod, from their vessel The Kleffaberg. Brim
Seafood strives to maintain the highest quality standards in
order to support the goal of a sustainable fishery by responsible
management.

Brim specialises in on-board Frozen at Sea fish, with their fish being
caught in Arctic waters and being frozen to -18°C within 4 hours of

catch, which locks in the fresh quality
and flavour.

resources such as allocated
permissible catch, financial resources
and good management, along with
the knowledge and experience
of its members of staff, Brim has
secured good results and takes its
place amongst the leading fishing
companies in Iceland.

Leinebris Leinebris owns and operates one of the world’s most modern
longliners. All year around the vessel catches quality wild fish,
Christer Leinebø producing premium fillets in the top modern factory. As fifth
Captain generation fishermen they are passionate about longline fishing
and the fresh Frozen at Sea (FAS) concept that ensures a quality
and consistency of the absolute highest standard.

Longline fishing gives a unique quality, whiter than snow, firm texture,
fresher than fresh Frozen at Sea fillet. Whiter,
firmer, better are the three words Leinebris use to
describe their fresh Frozen at Sea fillets.

Leinebris is proud to be MSC certified. All the
Cod and Haddock from the Barents Sea is MSC
certified. Friars Pride has an exclusive agreement
with Leinebris to supply their beautiful fillets to
the Fish & Chip industry. Friars Pride and Leinebris
are two family businesses who share the same
passion for our quality, product and service.

INDIVIDUALLY QUICK FROZEN (IQF) FILLETS

Packed in a 10lb box, Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) fillets are
extremely convenient, flexible and ideal for caterers or smaller
users. They enable shops to hold stock of different species of fish
in a variety of different sizes as they are easy to defrost and can be
fried one at a time if required.

Friars Pride’s brand of IQF fillets are available in Cod, Haddock or Plaice and have a very low
glaze of 10%, so you are paying for fish not water.

Our Cod and Haddock are line-caught from small Icelandic vessels to ensure consistent
quality and are available in a range of sizes from 5-6oz to 12-14oz. The Plaice is also sourced
from Iceland and sales have grown on the whole range due to the continuity of supply and
high quality.
